Spring Shakedown Cancelled May 16, 2008 - CFS regrets that we are forced to cancel this Sunday's "Spring Shakedown" due to excessive moisture in the racing surface. The first event will now be next Sunday, May 25th - Checkered Flag Day, sponsored by Lounsbury Chevrolet. Race time is set for 2:30 PM.

CFS Announces Increased Payouts more
John Chisholm was air lifted to Halifax early morning hours Sat he had a Stomach Aneurism. He is in ICU and stable at this point He has had surgery to repair the rupture. An we are told all went well with that so it is a awaiting game right now they are planning to take him out of sedation in the morning. We at the Racing Spectator wish him a speedy recovery.

Top Competitors Moving Up in 2008 April 6, 2008 - CFS has confirmed that several top competitors in lower divisions are intending to move to the Sportsman Class for 2008. Drivers who have indicated their intent to compete in the speedways top division include former top TigerCat competitor Marcel Goguen, and 2008 and 2007 Street Stock Competitor Remi Gaudet. Other competitors expected to register their intent to move up in '08 include Gaetan Boudreau (TigerCat Champ for '07) and Don Marcoux (Speedway Top Rookie in 2007)

CFS Awards Banquet Announced Oct 23rd - 2007 - CFS is pleased to announce the date and location for the annual Awards Banquet will be December 15th at 6 PM at the Moncton Dart Club. Groups are asked to call 506 388-2415 to reserve your seat. A reservation is required. This will be the richest drivers banquet in the speedway's history with over $25,000 in awards and prizes to be distributed to regular competitors. Teams must be present to be eligible to receive their awards. Don't miss it.
