August 2nd: Marcel Maillet captures first victory of 2009 at Centre for Speed. Maillet also was victorious in the Semi Final race for his second victory of the year, turning his whole season around. Marcel then went on to a tenth place finish in the second leg of the Maritime Super Series. The next race in this series occurs in August at River Glade Speedway and is the 145 lap “International”.
Summary: For Marcel the season has gone on too long without a win. He has had several good runs but has been unable to close the deal up to now. Look for a batch of wins before the 2009 season is history.
