The Petty Auto Fest motor sports show is being held in Petitcodiac at the arena on Corey Ave. Saturday, June 7 from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. Everyone welcome!!! If you have a vehicle that you would like to show the entry fee is only $5.00 per entry. If you just wish to come and enjoy what others has displayed the cost is only a monetary donation at the door.
At 1:00pm is a live auction, that should be fun. Come and out bid your neighbour.
At 2:00pm the music of the Border Town Band will bring the entertainment for the afternoon, dance if you like.
The Kiwanis will have their canteen open to satisfy the hunger pains. So come and enjoy !!!
SUNDAY MORNING UPDATE - Irving Lubricants 100 has been postponed!

With the forecast looking wet and showers to continue into the afternoon, officials at Speedway 660 have decided to postpone Sundays events. Stay tuned for the rescheduled date for the Irving Lubricants Pro Stock 100.
Double header weekend on tap next weekend with the Enduro 200 on Friday June 6th at 8pm and DQ Kids Day on Saturday June 7th at 6pm.
With the forecasted heavy rain for Saturday afternoon and evening, Officials at Speedway 660 have rescheduled the Irving Lubricants Pro Stock 100 for Sunday at 2:00pm.
Several Pro Stock teams (Lonnie Sommerville, Scott Chubbuck, Travis Benjamin and last weeks feature winner Brent Wiggins) were onsite Friday tuning up for their shot at the Irving Lubricants 100. .Hold on for Sunday folks as this is shaping up to be a great event!!!
Centre for Speed Track Surface Ready for Racing
May 30, 2008 - Thanks to a few good days of warm weather this week the CENTRE for Speed track surface has dried enough to allow racing this Sunday at 2:30. We'll see you at the CENTRE this Sunday for the Lounsbury Chev Checkered Flag Season Opener!
Please note: We have a number of competitors travelling from 2 or more hours away for regular events so if weather threatens we will, based on the detailed weather forecast from Environment Canada for Shediac, cancel the event no later than 9 AM. On Race Day fans and drivers are asked to call the speedway at 506 532-3032 or, if busy, 506 866-6387 if there are any doubts about the weather. Thanks for your support and we'll see you at the CENTRE.
