Glyn Nott captures Opening leg of Maritime Super Series at Centre for Speed more

Please be advised that due to inclement weather the CARQUEST Pro Stock Tour and Speedway 660 have cancelled the Parts for Trucks 100 that was scheduled for 7pm tonight. The event will be rescheduled and announced shortly.

CFS Opens Grandstand Dedication Voting
June 24, 2009 - CFS is pleased to inform the fans that the voting for your pick to name a renewed section of the grandstand after has been opened today. To enter your preference please click on the "Polls" link on the left hand column of the screen and give us your preference from the nominees received. If you have a "write-in" that is not one of the listed names please send us an email on the email link provided on the Polls page including the name you would like to see honoured. The section will be dedicated at the Atlantic Championships in October including a permanent banner with the winning nominees name and car number. Voting will remain open until after the mid sesaon championships event on August long weekend.

Rains Secures Double Whammy Weekend at Centre for Speed
June 23, 2009 - Thanks to the weather this Sunday is shaping up to be a big one with the combination of the Pepsi 100 for Sportsman and the Schneiders Mini Stock 50's both to be run on the same day - a Double Whammy. A few drivers who were a little behind schedule on their car building were reportedly thanking the weather man last weekend as it has allowed them those few critical days of extra time to prepare their machines for the first of the Maritime Super Series events, thanks to the postponement. That's good news for fans is there should be a few extra cars in the field this weekend, plus the CENTRE is holding the line on the price for this weeks combined shows as a part of the Father's Day and Schools Out celebratrions. Fans can check the schedule for details.

CARQUEST Pro Stock Tour Heads to Speedway 660 for Parts for Trucks 100 more

Due to the forecasted weather and the extended distance teams are traveling for CFS events this year we regret to inform you that today's "Schools Out Celebration" PEPSI 100 has been postponed. The event has been rescheduled and will be held next weekend, Sunday June 28th, in combination with the Schneiders Meats Mini Stock 50 and Championship Racing in all other divisions. All Father's Day and "Schools Out" specials and prize draws will be next weekend on the 28th. Kids, don't forget to bring your report cards to be eligible for special prizes which will be drawn throughout the day! All School Aged children will be admitted to the event, free.

Based on the information given to us from Environment Canada, officials from the Carquest Pro Stock Tour have decided to cancel the Lucas Oil 100 at Raceway Park for this weekend. Possible make-up date to follow

Mother Nature Wins Again
Motor nature wins again…. Officials at Speedway 660 have cancelled tonight’s Fredericton Inn weekly racing event and the Mascot Challenge festivities. There is no rain date for this event but stay tuned for the reschedule date for the Mascot Challenge Festivities.

Centre for Speed Speedway Looks for Fan Input to Help Dedicate Section of Renewed Grandstands
June 8, 2009 - After completing a major overhaul of it's grandstand the CENTRE for Speed is looking for input to help determine which Maritime racing figure should have their name placed on the center of the newly refurbished sections. The speedway is asking for you to send your nominee (drivers, builders, promoters, staff, etc) via email to gm@centreforspeed.com on or before June 21st. After the nomination period ends all names will be placed into an online poll to allow the racing public to vote for their choice for the grandstand dedication. We look forward to hearing from you! The Maritime Motorsports Hall Of Fame is having our 4th Petty AutoFest June 13, starting at 9:00am - 5:00pm at the Petitcodiac Arena on Corey Ave. The music is by the Border Town Band. They do great old time music. They are playing in the afternoon.

Dave Biggar and Marilyn are getting ready to leave for Montreal this coming weekend to attend their daughter’s graduation from Concordia They have a fill in driver for this coming weekend! Bradley Logan is going to be piloting Dave’s #70 around the track June 6th.

Updates are a bit slow this week as Bea is currently in hospital in Moncton getting another stent in her heart. Please be patient.
