Labour Day "Day of Destruction" to include first ever "Figure 8" Race
Aug 24, 2008 - CFS is announcing the rescheduling of it's Labour Day "Day of Destruction" to Saturday night, August 30th (previously scheduled for Monday - Sept 1st). The event will include CFS's first ever "Figure 8" race along with a Burnout Competition, Full Contact Racing and Demolition events.

Faster Pastor and AOW Return this Weekend
This weekend is the annual Faster Pastor Church Fund Raiser at the CENTRE FOR SPEED plus the speedway is pleased to announce that the AOW will be back in town after putting on a great show last weekend. Other competition will include points championship racing in Thunder, Tiger and Sportsman classes. Outlaw racing begins at 6:30 and stock cars take the track at 7 PM. Street Stocks have the weekend off. We'll see you at the CENTRE.

On Saturday at Riverside, the drivers are requested to go into the stands once the cars are lined up on the frontstretch for the feature and use their helmets to collect money for the Scott Kelly IWK trust fund. Also, once each driver is introduced, he will sign a hood prior to heading for his car.

The Parts for Trucks 200 scheduled for Scotia Speedworld on September 6 has been rescheduled to September 13.
This change allows the Maritime Pro Stock Tour to reschedule the rained out portion of the Lucas Oil 150 at Shediac’s Centre for Speed for September 6.
