Registrations for New and Returning Drivers Heating Up at CFS With the season opener only a few weeks away, drivers are busy moving up from their former divisions to meet the new challenges of faster and more competitive racing. Among those are former Mini Stock Class champ Gerald Brun who will be racing in the Street Stock division for the 2009 points championship and Don Marcoux, last years Four Fun Division Champ and a long time racer. Coupled with strong Riverglade street stockers Gary Tingley, Tim Layton, Richard Harrington and others such as Doug MacEwen and Shelly and Gary Stewart form PEI who reportedly intend to compete in the new South East Challenge Series and returning CFS favourites such as Mark Ferguson and Vic Vienneau and it should be an exciting season in the "beat and bang sideways slidin tires smokin' street stock division". Marc Williams has also announced he will be moving up to a new Sportsman Car and will be its pilot for the 2009 campaign! Williams says his #24 street stock will be at the track competing however with an as yet to be named driver. Several other new and returning drivers have also registered in various classes for the 2009 season. It all adds up to more fun for everyone
